RAS – Responsible Alpaca Standard
The Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) provides an opportunity for farmers to demonstrate their best practices to the public, and a means for brands and consumers to have the certainty that the alpaca fiber products they buy and sell are in line with their values. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by SLAB for this scheme under registration nr. CP 004-01.
ISCC – Certified Biomass and Bioenergy
The ISCC EU is the first and leading voluntary scheme based on the European Renewable Energy Directive (RED), covering the environmental and social aspects of biomass production. It is compatible with other RED schemes. In the supply chain, traceability is key to assuring the diligence of the system.
SAVE Program – In accordance with ZDHC Guidelines
The SAVE Program (Systematic Analysis Valuable to Environment) has been developed in response to a shift in using Safe and eco-friendly colorant and Chemicals in the textile industry due to toxic and allergic reactions. The SAVE Program is based on a comprehensive management system approach and provides a framework for manufacturers to assist them to ensure that Colorant and Chemicals are free of harmful substances in accordance with ZDHC MRSL v 3.1, ZDHC Verified InCheck-Level 1 v 1.0 and toxicological, ecotoxicological and hazard information. Also, as per ECHA and ZDHC MRSL guidelines the hazardous and restricted chemical inputs shall be identified and approved for GRS (Global Recycling Standard) applied products.
ISCC PLUS
ISCC Plus is a thorough basis for the voluntary implementation of sustainability criteria in supply chains which are similar to the EU RED. Companies with an existing ISCC-EU certificate are able to extend to ISCC PLUS during the certificate validity period and benefit this way from the additional possibilities an ISCC PLUS certification offers in market applications outside the EU fuel market.
GOTS Scope4 – Global Organic Textile Standard Scope 4 (Letter Of Approval)
The aim of the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is to define requirements to ensure the organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing , up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.
ISCC Japan FIT
The Japan Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) sets out a system of incentives for the production of renewable electricity in Japan which includes subsidies for the procurement of a number of materials eligible as biomass fuels. Japan’s Ministry for Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has set out specific requirements for the certification of those materials under the FIT system. The ISCC Japan FIT standard incorporates these requirements so that materials certified under this standard will be eligible under Japan’s FIT system.
ISCC CORSIA
ISCC is already widely known as a leading voluntary scheme recognised under the EU Renewable Energy Directive, with a focus on fuels for road and rail transport. The ISCC scheme is now also eligible for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), as it meets the requirements of CORSIA, which has been setup by the ICAO.
